Hi,
Has anyone figured out a method to make this list wrap_content on the height attribute, and add several others view below this one in a layout? Currently this list occupies all the layout surface. Any feedback would be a lot appreciated.

The author has a lot of typos in the example code, including "Horizontial". Try fixing that...

Why do you use private mItemClickListener rather than super.getItemClickListener() ?

ListView accepts attribute dividerHeight to create a margin between items. What about HorizontalListView?

I want to create a horizontal gallery, and i try to implement HorizontalListView with Base adapter. I use AsyncTask to load bitmaps to ImageView container, and i failed to set size. The photos eventually shown up as small icons. Please advise.

Hi, thanks for the horizontal livewview, works a treat.

Im new to android development and am trying to add a context menu to the view but im having a few issues if you could please help.
basically the context menu appears while scrolling, and i was wondering if theres a way to stop the long click handeler for this while scrolling and enable it if theres no scrolling.
also the context menu is unable to get the menuinfo so i can get what item was clicked.

I am not sure if there is an default way to do it but i have achived desired action by something like this:

            @Override
            public void onItemClick(AdapterView parent, View v, int position,
                    long id) {
                //new selected item so i change its color to white here as highlight indication
                v.setBackgroundColor(Color.WHITE);
                if(selectedImageView!=null)
                    //here i set previous selected item's color to default (0xff999999 is my default color)
                    selectedImageView.setBackgroundColor(0xff999999);
                selectedImageView = v;
            }

            View selectedImageView = null; // This is a global variable that keeps the track of previous selected item so we can change its color to default one.

Thanks for sharing your code, it's very great...

I'm using the HorizontalListView to show some jpeg, so I figure out everything about handling image stuff to set the imageview, but I'm stuck with the image view alignment inside the HorizontalListView.

When the device is hold in vertical orientation and showing a horizontal picture format, the picture is Top Align.

How can I force the HorizontalListView to set the ImagView in Vertical Center ?

I am unable to set the selection/ highlight color when an item is pressed. I'm an android newbie so I'm not sure if this is an easy fix or not, but please advise me on what should be done to implement selection.
